Divestment of Maine Public Employees Retirement System LD 99 SIGNED INTO LAW BY THE GOVERNOR
An Act To Establish the Maine Healthy Soils Program LD 437 SIGNED INTO LAW BY THE GOVERNOR
Recognize Tribal Sovereignty LD 1626 TABLED UNTIL NEXT SESSION (JAN 2022) We continue to work with the Tribal Sovereignty Coalition to support the passage of this bill as it was tabled until the January 2022 session.
Pine Tree Amendment LD 489 TABLED UNTIL NEXT SESSION (JAN 2022) MCAN continues to support the passage of this bill as it was tabled until the January 2022 session.
Consumer Owned Utility LD 1708 Failed passage to be Enacted by one vote in Senate - Held by Senate - TBD as of July 12, 2021. MCAN is working with Our Power Coalition to gather signatures for a referendum to get this issue on November 2022’s ballot.
